Harvest Moon series producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto writes at the Harvest Moon blog that 2012 is the year that Marvelous AQL will release Harvest Moon Hajimari no Daichi on 3DS. He says they're putting a lot of effort into the game's story this time.
The special New Years drawing above is from series illustrator Igusa Matsuyama who says that he's reserved a copy of Hajimari no Daichi for himself. While 2012 is the year of the dragon, Matsuyama confirms that Hajimari no Daichi will not have dragons. However, it will have lots of other animals.

Your mission, although simple, is very dangerous: locate and deactivate all the missing bits on bitfields before they hurt anyone else. Good luck on your mission!
Release 5

A few artwork modifications to make text more legible
A few changes in code to make it simpler to understand (basically by removing unneeded code)
Bugfix: The application was calling irqInit() explicitly, causing it to not recognize touch input anymore (among other problems).
