cant get this to work on r4. emu loads fine but .st imgs dont load.
tos.bin is in roms/st and the roms themselves work ok using nostalgia (mac st emu)

anyone else got this working on the r4 or m3 simply?

I had this originally running on my supercard. Noticed your post and tried it on the R4.
Works ok. Obviously your .st game images are oki doki if you have tested them on the mac.
I´m using the tos 102 uk which is regarded as the most compatible for most games.

Can you boot to the TOS GEM GUI?
Can you see the roms in the file browser?
If possible use single game .st and not multi game menus as most of them use packers and this can cause the emulator to hang.

This is the way I load em up.
1. power up emulator.
2. press right trigger to bring up autostart rom image menu.
3. pick an image upsing d-pad up/down
4. press a button to load rom.
5. some games require a keypress/mouse click to continue loading after splash screen. Others will boot to the TOS Gem GUI where you will have to navigate to the game executable and double click to launch.

Please not that some games take quite a while to load. So be patience. Always check to see the disk access icon is flashing or the cpu load reading is fluctuating as a guide that emulator is processing data.

I need to test this again properly; I noticed that the TOS i used was the one that came with the mac emulator, which is actually  EmuTos, which im not sure is whats causing it not to work. I´ll have to have a google around and see if i can find a proper TOS dump. Just to give you a little idea of what is happening/not happening: the emulator loads, showing the neoflash background, if i press R, the upper screen goes green and below shows the autostart rom screen, I select Rick Dangerous, press A, the top screen then goes all funky, the only way i can describe it is color noise. on the bottom screen the % counter and numbers fluctuate. For example, right now says 98%  5  12512

Hope this gives some insight.

PS: the app itself still works, ie i can press keys on the keyboard and get back into the menus.

UPDATE: Just found a 1.02 TOS and it now boots Rick dangerous ok, so there you have it

No probs, glad to help a fellow ST fan. The emulation isn´t stella or at 100% speed but its great to see the old green desktop on the humble DS.

Where/how can I get the tos.bin file?

If anyone still at this post Im having same issues but not exactly sure on what to do...
After loading StyxDS on my DSTWO flash, I get the bunny image. Pressing any key makes the screen buggy. Best description is color static.
Im able to still get into options menu such as load rom. But it does little but change some static on top screen..

Read here that i need to get a Tos 1.2. I placed Tos 1.2 into rom folder aswell as where StyxDS is located..
Nothing changed and im still getting color static..

Honestly no idea what im doing... But still hoping ill be able to run sundog
