im posting with my 3DS :p, a minute ago a pop up show me that the system is ready for a new update, idunno what version and if it blocks Flashcards.

It is 4.3.0-1 and it´s just for overall performance but I didn´t updated too.

Edit: In my card, R4 SDHC Dual-Core New, site they already have a firmware upgrade, here it is!!

Ok this sux!
I updated my 3ds since i dont use any flashcards on it and now it says that i cant play my games.
The 3DS always says "this card cant be used" and it says to every of my games.

Eurogamer.pt stated that Nintendo warned if we do modifications to hardware and software can lead to damage the system!!
