Got this yesterday and it surprisingly works fine on my iPad1, which isn't listed as a supported device.

If you have a jailbroken device that doesnt meet the official requirements, the game still works fine. On the app store it's not advertised as workng on older devices and will not let you install to them. With a jailbroken device you can bypass this and it will install on iPad 1 / iPhone3Gs / iPod touch 3rd gen and plays fine as long as you dont have any apps running in the background.
