i don't own a 3ds and right now i dont plan on getting one. they haven't even announced a good game for it yet, let alone published one. and i don't need a flashy handheld without decent games. if i wanted that, i'd have gotten a psp years ago.
oh, and the OoT remake is kinda like the royal wedding: the whole world seems to go apeshit over it, but i just fail to understand why the fuck i should care... | I'm pretty much agree what you said. Right now, 3DS is not even worth getting without any title that interested me. It is the games that makes the system good, not the other way around. To answer your question: There are just too many Nintendo fanboys out there. Whatever Nintendo releases they will always think they are the greatest thing in the world. For example, the DSi. I still think the DSL is better than the DSi anytime.
