Figuring out the probabilities in your head is pretty easy, its just a matter of getting used to the layout of the game.
When I reached Goldenrod I immediately got addicted to this game, spent hours playing trying to beat my record.
I kinda miss the slot machines,but at least this time the game is based on logic.
