Well, it's not my method at all. I was just curious. I also only have an Acekard, so I'm afraid I can't be of much help. The people in that gbatemp thread might be a better bet though.

/// THE UNIVERSAL CHILD'S PLAY PATCH WAS UPDATED!! ///

How to play "Pocket Monster Black: " on your R4 and DSTT

For General Users:

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.
If you can not enter the union room, use Patch.rar to improve the problem.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe.

For DSTT Users:

1. Copy the included three files, TTMENU.DAT, infolib.dat, and extinfo.dat to the TTMENU folder of your DSTT.
You don't need to patch your ROM file.
    You can't use softwre rest.

Note: You can use the latest kernel DSTT Kernel v1.17a12 rev31 for implemeting the latest files.

Note:
This path is not only for "Pocket Monster : Black". It's one of game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.
The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.
