How to play "Love Plus +" on your DSTT and R4

For DSTT User:

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

   Note: If you want to transfer old data of Love Plus to new Love Plus+ with two DSs,
             you may want to use this Patch.rar file.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe.

3. Copy the attached two files, infolib.dat and extinfo.dat, to the TTMENU folder of your DSTT.

   Note: You may want to use DSTT Kernel v1.17a13 rev07 for implemeting the latest extinfo.bat file.  


For R4 User:

Use YSMENU with the same manner of the above instruction as like DSTT. Thus, use R4 YSMENU.


Note:
This path is not only for "Love Plus +". It's one of game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.  
The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

After attempting (and failing) to get past the first phase on an R4 running WoodR4 (unpatched rom, mind you), I am willing to suspect there's a few more AP measures than just the ones that prevent loading. While the Stat checks were nowhere near as volatile as in Love Plus, I was completely unable to get ANY of the girls, whereas in Love Plus I was able to get Nene (on my first try, no guide beyond startup) by day 63. (for reference, you have 100 days before the game boots you back to title screen and you have to try again from your LAST save. good luck with that if you save on day 99. If the AP measures I believe exist actually do, good luck if your last save was on day 15.)

Will be trying this again with an initialized save and the patched rom.

I say!

I can confirm 2 things:

A) There is Anti-Piracy beyond what prevents the rom from loading on some cards. The WoodRPG firmware and derivatives (such as WoodR4) are affected. Specifically, it is impossible to raise the affection levels of any of the girls when playing it on a flashcard that does not remove the AP, meaning you cannot go on dates, cannot get ANY contact (except Rinko's, since it is given to you in an event that can be triggered without any indication Rinko is there), and cannot get a confession of love from any of the girls. Incidentally, it would also appear the "boyfriend checks" are somewhat based on affection levels.

B) The patch 5 posts above removes this bit of anti-piracy.
