Yeah, they should keep that pompous "yawn" in their NFO to themselves if they can't actually get that oh-so-easy protection right cause they're messing up otherwise.
Anyone skilled enough to remove the crappy intro from the ROM?

Its like Hotel Dusk, minus all the charm. I'm only about an hour into this one so far, and while it is keeping me entertained it is definitely not as good as Hotel Dusk. The music is great, but there's something about the in-game actors that doesn't feel quite right. Even though its animations of real people, they somehow seem to fall into the uncanny valley with their odd gestures. The funny thing is the gestures are very similar to the ones the characters did in Hotel Dusk, but since they were animated it didn't feel as fake and gave the characters more personality and charm. In Again it just makes them look weird and ruins the vibe for me. Dunno, that's just me. Steam on Hotel Dusk 2!

got to agree with crass there I just play this for 30 minutes, love the music, the movies a lil' bit cool, but some scene makes me feel like I'm watching CSI or something and the animation is not as good as Hotel Dusk, some animation were too fast, and even finished in a blink of eye, the story's is good, but translation boring... Last Window (HD2) will be much better than this

Agreed. I wish I could revise my overly hasty 9.0 vote for the game.
Besides the weird characters on the left screen (which can fortunately be ignored when one only follows the text), the game has been 100% linear and non-involving for over an hour after the first 3D investigation scene. So far there's really nothing to do but click "next" all the time.
