So what exactly's Wood RPG? Is it an RPG? Is it firmware? Is it both into one? Is it none of the two? What exactly is it?

it's an unofficial firmware update for original R4 cart with ton of game to fix up to Wood RPG update fix
it's known to many update fix as well as Mario RPG 3 fix, SMT Strange Journey, and more DSi too is said to be supported

so time to dust off the old R4 as enjoy the same update fix as Woo AKRPG update
too bad mine's R4 SDHC, my EDGE still work though

This is the time to put away R4 original firmware 1.18 or YSMenu and use this firmware.

it really doesn't work on R4Ultra?

Tested and working on my genuine R4! Glad I keep it. One minor inconvenience, it won't load my saves, but it seems it's because their filenames end in .nds.sav, instead of just .sav. Is there any way to change this?
Edit: And by that I meant besides renaming each file, but that's what I'm going to do anyway, no reason to keep using my TTDS, at least for now.

Ironically, I bought the Acekard RPG to replace the R4, because the R4's firmware wasn't being updated anymore.

Very nice, didn't think my old R4 would be useful once again. Thanks Mr. Goblin.

Now someone just needs to write a new firmware for my M3 Perfect Lite!   (Kidding, of course, it works great for GBA games. Just what it's supposed to do.)
