Nice group name... I assume this won't be the last 'proper' for the next time. Sigh.

I hope someone releases deltas.

Lol, 'hypocrite'. They need to get someone who knows English to write their diss nfo's, all this crap is coming off as passive-aggressive.

Proper or not, does it really matter as long as the game works? Or isit some kinda competition?

To the average person just playing the dumps it doesn't matter at all. To people that are anal about 1:1 dumps it matters.

I could choose to not list these propers and just ignore them all, but why should i do that?

Ignoring a 1:1 dump and keeping a potentially bad dump in the list, even though it's only the header that's bad, it still seems a bit arrogant to me.
I have noticed other sites ignoring all the dumps with proper headers.

My opinion on the bad headers is this, why keep something in the list that you know is bad if there's a good one available.

"Suffer the nuke", duke!

But seriously, weren´t all dumping tools skipping the header from a certain point onwards? That´s why new tools got released, right? So, does that mean we´ll see every f-ing rom rereleased as a "proper" with a few bites more in the header. Yeah... that would be kind of ridiculous!

So what does this "proper" mean?
Is this an already patched version that will work (on my r4 because it is slightly annoying to go to ysmenu and then start up M and L)
Is this a(nother) patch?

I have been on the scene for some time now but I am still quite inexperienced, please forgive me if this is a stupid question with an obvious answer.

No, it´s not pre-patched. It´s just a 1:1 dump of the original, including some bytes that the previous release skipped (look at the .jpg in the notes). And I don´t know if XPA´s patch works with this. Has anyone tried? Cause I don´t give a shit

"all the NDS releases after DSi launch are missing data. Old NDS dumpers skip the header after 0x200 though, many of the NDS games after DSi include data after 0x200."

I don't know about the ROMs released before the DSi launch. Would people want/someone make a tool to fill the skipped zeros?

In the nfo for Fast Food Panic USA you can see bahamut and probably other groups don't agree with these propers

If they all get nuked for invalid proper then we will follow and keep the old releases numbered.
Without a nuke i don't really see any reason to ignore them for now
