The Mediafire zip (no source) is corrupted.

Can confirm that. And the rapidshare servers are always full. Have been trying frequently for the last two days.
cry
edit: the mediafire zip (+source) unzips fine. Should´ve tried that in the first place, stupid me!

And by the way: Does anyone know any more Danmaku shooters for the DS (except for Ketsui and the several homebrew Touhous)? Oh right, and Big Bang Mini, which was kind of Bullet Hellish. And those two homebrews for the gba, Vulcanon and BulletGBA, I´ve played those to millions of deaths, literally.

Not many schmups on the DS unfortunately, although I guess the japs are getting a bunch on DSi soon.

I'd recommend Nanostray 1&2.

As the shmup fanboy I am I already have both Nanostrays (the second one is really great, leaving behind the crappy weapon select by touchscreen and having the best 3D graphics on the DS still up to date imho). I just didn´t mention them because they aren´t really Danmaku (or Bullet Hell if you want) even though the screen can get quite crowded in harder difficulties.

Sadly this has nothing to do with the DS, but Radirgy for Dreamcast, PS2, Game Cube, and Wii is my favorite.

Radirgy was part of the "Ultimate Shooting Collection" (Milestone Shooting Collection for Japan) alongside Chaos Field and Karous. It was renamed to Radio Allergy and I really loved it too, even though I´d have to admit that I liked Chaos Field a bit more with its Radiant Silvergun-esque sword mechanic. Why aren´t there any games like this for the DS? Is the audience for them too small?
By the way, RS DS was the main reason I decided to participate here at ds-scene rather than any other scene-related page *looking in retrohead´s direction with a hopeful glimpse in the eye* ;D
