ok, i have the following problem:

that crack program didn't work for me... if i press "A" on the xenophobia screen, the screen just gets a bit brighter and after that it instantly freezes.
ok, after that i tried an already cracked game... it works fine with that.. BUT.. if i turn off my DS and turn it on again, it says "Couldn't find _DS_MENU.DAT". well,
i put my microSD in my pc and what did i see? NOTHING. just NOTHING... ok.. no files on my microSD.. fine... but there was still only about 20MB free space on it, just as it
was before... no, the files are not hidden... they are kind of ON my microSD.. but they are also kind of NOT on my microSD.
my only chance to put some files onto it again, was formatting the microSD... well, i did so and i tried the whole thing with another game... it worked perfectly... no "deleting" of my files... no freezing...
only spirit tracks is bitching around, deletes my files, freezes...

i hope you understand, what i'm trying to say with my crappy english and i hope you can help me...

oh, i have a M3 DS Simply, with a R4i 1.23 firmware... a friend of mine has the SAME hardware and the SAME firmware. works fine with him..

EDIT: Oh, i forgot something... the cracked game... the one i cracked by myself... if i use this one, the system ALWAYS asks me for creating a .SAV-file... i tried it 4 times, but the game freezed 4 times.. ok, i put my SD into my pc... what did i see? 4 .SAV-files... cool.. but they were all named a different way as the game... my game was named Zelda ST.nds... and the sav files were named ZELDA ST.SAV ... i tried to rename my .nds file to ZELDA ST.NDS but that didn't work either...

Can SOMEONE confirm that the 2 (in game) save slots are working? Create a save in the first slot, create a save in the second slot, turn the DS off, turn it on, launch Spirit Tracks, go to "Select File" screen. Are the saves there?

I would want to confirm if this is a AP or a new save type.

Using clean ROM
If I set the save type to 4Mbit (512Kbytes) in Acekard RPG with WoodRPG 1.02 or AKAIO 1.5 with 04/12 loader, the game always "forgets" the saves. If I set to 8Mbit, the save slots work normally. The same thing happens on ideas 1.0.3.2 (emulator). Desmume 0.9.5 win64 automatically creates a 980Kbytes saves, even if you select 4mbit as save type. No$gba 2.6 with save type set to 512Kbytes (4mbit, actual file size is 512Kbytes), save slots work normally.

Using cracked ROM
Acekard RPG with WoodRPG, ideas and desmume behave the same way (as when using clean ROM). No$gba says something like, "requires BIOS files to play BIOS sounds" (because of XPA intro), when I open the ROM, and the game does not start.

I am confused

Hi logical thinker!
Both save slots are working here. I´d rather think that if one of them works, both will (it´s the same save file after all). Without knowing anything about Acekard RPG, two questions that miiiiiiiiiggghhht maybe be a help in sorting this out:
are you using that newest AKAIO loader (is it the one you mention)?
did you try that blank savegame floating around the netz? Zelda uses a huge savefile that many cards weren´t able to set up correctly on the initial startup of the game.
You probably already knew all of this, just some suggestions
:yaylite:
edit: the blank savefile has 979Kb. And my used savefile has... 979k as well. Surprise, surprise!

After a few days of playing (2 to be precise), on the third day, it automatically created a new save for some strange reason..... there must be another AP that is timed or something... i created a new game and it appears to be saving fine again... so make sure you guys back up your saves and use RTS as well..

i'm using EZ-flash Vi with open beta 1.9 v11 firmware

is there anything i can do to put my mic on a button or sth like this? .. i really cant play these songs or use the whirlwind properly .. i hate needing 20000 trys to play a four note song oO

Actually, I have the same problem. When I use the Spirit Flute normal it works fine, but when I need to perform or when I use the whirlwind, it doesnt work properly. I also did the mic test and everything seems fine. I am using M3 ds simply with Yasu.
