Clean ROM works perfectly fine on Acekard 2i + AKAIO 1.5 (with newest loader).

ahhh...hummm. No it doesnt. i tried ,and no train controls with the clean rom.

Oh yest it does - tested train and save capability on the loader dated 04/12/2009 with no "tricky" settings or hacks whatsoever and it runs just fine.

thnx guys. first there was the train controls missing problem and now theres a crack for it, then the game would'n't save porperly and now someone uploaded  special save and now it works. now i can enjoy the game

why does this save work, is it hacked?
No, not at all.  It's just a normal save.

The problem is that the game uses an unusual save size, which the M3 fails to properly detect.  So if there isn't a save there already, it creates a save file that's too small -- and then, when the game attempts to load this too-small save file, it hangs on the very first screen.

But if you create a save file manually (or get one from elsewhere), the M3 will happily accept the size of that file as appropriate for the game.  In fact, if you know the correct size, you can even create a totally empty file of that size yourself -- the bits all 0's -- and the M3 will correctly assume that that's the right size, then the game will notice that the file is empty and properly-initialize it for you.

So it's not even a copy-protection issue, more a limitation of the M3 (well, they might have chosen that odd save-file size in hopes that it would screw over some cards -- but it might also have simply been because they wanted more space.)

A few other games have had this problem, too, but firmware upgrades have fixed them...  I thought the issue was totally resolved on the M3.  Oh well.  It's easy to work around once you know what the problem is.

There isn't a readme, but you can read the nfo. Just right-click on the nfo -> open with (openen met) -> WordPad.
You just need to rename your rom to xpa-lzst.nds and drag-'n'-drop it to the batch file.

Edit: I've noticed you use an M3i Zero.
I don't know if the patch works with M3i Zero. But you can always try to see if it works.

Ok ive got the patch to work and the game plays perfect. I had the problem with not being able to save a game and recover the save after reboot. Downloaded the save file and it makes no difference. Even when i rename the save to the same as the rom!
Using edge card version 1.6
Help please?

To all M3i Zero users:

Hey

Have had a lot of problems with this game(froze at the white Nintendo sceens) and my m3i zero, but finally got the solution, by reading alot of forums:

First of, make sure you are NOT using a to big microSD card, my was 8 GB, most of it free. To avoid this I put a folder with movies(dummy data), so it got down to under 2GB of free memory. After I redused my card in size I got the game running. LOL

2.: Using sakura 1.42x, got it from gbatemp.net

3.: have not tried saving yet, but found a .sav file, to avoid the problems with saving.

4.: using the un patch game by-the-way.

EDIT:
UPdate: Only works til the train part, then 2 black screens :(
It also works (only till the train part) with the newest Sakura 1.44x...

:D UPDATE:
Got it working past the train part:
Just using the XPA- cracked game and the .sav file. Hope this helps... LOL LOL[b]
