There's a way to get the game working on M3 REAL

You can use this .sav file

http://www.mediafire.com/?yd2jtmymemz

along with the fixed rom and the latest sakura firmware

Just rename the .sav to the same name as the spirit tracks .nds file - start a new game and save after the old bloke chats to you.

You'll be tooting your whislt all the way to hyrule castle!

All credit goes to GBAtemp forums.

Hope the posting of the .sav file is cosher - I have looked for the forum rules but couldn't find anything.

J

holy crap it works now, you rule.

Hi,
on my R4-III SDHC with v3.07 without YSMenu (YSMenu is impossible on my card) it works perfect with the xpa-patch,
no save problems, and the controls are there...
so everybody have fun with it :)

Thanx JonnyT!

Working on my m3real with iTouch from Sakura 1.44 (Sakura itself won´t boot correctly, it freezes at the "checking for fragments"-screen, but who cares, it works!!!)

That was kinda unexpected. The dude coming up with the blank save is a genius!

Choo-choo :wwlink:

I still can't play it in my M3 Simply, it freezes at the Nintendo boot screen after patching. Would the .sav thingy for M3 Real cards help?

The clean ROM works fine (boots, train is playable, saves and loads) on Acekard RPG with WoodRPG 1.02 firmware (settings changed: "Bypass Protection" On and "Save Type" 8M, everything else default (Off)).

Question to everyone who can play this game: what is the size of the save file after playing the game? Do both save slots work? Mine is 1Mbyte and both slots work.
