Is this just the Blacksmith version of Cooking Mama, or can you actually use those items you make like in GBA Summon Nights?

A blacksmith version of Cooking Mama grin That's still an interesting concept, even if it's just for 10 minutes. I'm hoping it'll let you actually use the weapons in a game with a real story, and that they'll translate it to English.

Wow, I read about this game about a year ago. The completed model's are supposed to be full 3D and look pretty good. Unlike cooking mama where most times I say "oh, thats what I was making?". This game you run a smithy and take orders from would-be heroes to advance further.

Hmm... Trailer says it actually is coming here... though they have no idea when anymore. Nevertheless I am intrigued! I guess I'll flail around in Japanese for a bit lol

Letting you use the weapons would be awesome but one of the taglines in the trailer was "Feel the thrill of management!" so... pretty sure that's a no. lol But I'll still play it.

Just took it for a spin..It's really text heavy. So basically unplayable if you can't read jpn.
Unless you like to stumble around.

Anyways you purchase material to be made into items. You get new recipes for items.
You full fill quest by making the requested item.

Looks like you can sell what you make.
Doesn't look like there's anything beyond the smithing and merchanting.
