What happened to the R4 anyway? They just suddenly stopped updating the firmware, but I didn't see any announcement about it not being supported anymore.

Eh, I need to get a new one anyway. And one that can use the Micro SDHC cards. I have a question, though. Is there a cart that works on both DS Lite and DSi? Because I'm getting a DSi for Christmas and I'd like to be able to use the same flash card. Are any of them really better than others in terms of what games work with them and how often the firmware is updated? I was planning on getting the M3i Zero when I got my DSi. If it works on my DS Lite, I could go ahead and get it now.

I downloaded an english patched version of the japanese game. It seems to work fine. i can run around in a room after some cutscenes (I got an M3 Simply with some older modded R4 Firmware, I think).
Does this mean the US release will also work after I patched it with that fix from the thread for the japanese version? That would be great!

I plan to get a new card, anyway (are there still ones that also have an expansion for the GBA Slot that works with the original DS (not Lite)?), but that might aswell take until Christmas because we're pretty much broke atm since we're moving and due to other things (which is why I can't buy the game, which is what I originally planned to do, because this is a game I just want to own. But that'll have to wait until next year, I guess).

Edit: With "expansion for the GBA Slot" I mean something you can play GBA roms with.
