Warhawk DS is based on the commercial C64 game released by Proteus Developments in 1986. The project has been coded in 100% ARM assembler, coding was a joint effort between Flash and HeadKaze and has taken around 5 or so months to complete. Lobo has helped with the graphics, you can see his artwork on the cover design while SpaceFractal has contributed some musical talent. Even BadToad who was involved in the original game has helped with playtesting and graphical assistance. The game has 16 normal levels and also upon completion, another 16 mental levels become available. Check out the video above for a nice demonstration of how it plays.
Unfortunately retrohead (the devleoper of Radiant Silvergun DS) spends all his time playing challenge mode on PSO now, he currently holds some of the world records for the speed runs.
I don't think Radiant Silvergun will see a release for ages yet
I recommend this game even for those for never played the original (like me ). This game is way better than nano stray and one of the best homebrew games I have ever played. It is a really fun game and I can't wait for the next update!
This homebrew is just amazing ! I remember this game on c64, but here with dual screens it's just so cool. The music from Rob Hubbard was great on c64 and the remix is fantastic on DS ! Those guys has done a very good job on this !

Works great (on my acekard2i) and amazing play. I never got this on the C64. I still have a C64 Machine beside me but I never had the game. This is pretty sweet with dual screens and awesome music ^_^. I love the traditional demoscene style intro . Good job, guys.
