Yasu has coded a DS rendition of the BEMANI game series Pop'n Music. Theres 3 sets of files you need to play this. The archive i've put in the ds-scene download center has both the .nds files and 3 song files from yasu's post, these are basically song operation files, i guess similar to stepmania files really. You will also need the wav samples that the song files use, which is another 23MB download, grab that from this page.

Good luck with getting it working. I haven't had time to play around with it enough yet, the quick try i gave it seemed like i must have had the wav samples in he wrong directory as it gives a list of errors whenever i try to play a song. I could still play the songs but with no music playing lol. So if someone knows the exact dir the samples need to go in, like what it should be named etc then please make a post here letting me know thanks.

btw you need an account to watch videos on nico nico douga, which i do have, so i took the liberty of uploading the video to youtube so you can all view it.

From what I've tried, you can put the files from the BMDS_whatever folder in its own folder on your card, then unzip an place all of the wavs in the same folder:

Root
->BMDS
-->BMDS.nds
-->BMDS_touch.nds
-->bokudora.bms
-->oharock.bms
-->anpanman.bms
-->-1do.wav
-->-1do#.wav
-->-1fa.wav
-->-1fa#.wav
...
...
...

^like that.

The songs work fine when I place them like this. Try this setup and see if it works. :playlite:
