SEGA are releasing a new game based on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya animation for Nintendo DS in Spring 2009. The game scenarios are supervised by staff from the animation series, brought together to create a completely new story. Gameplay itself is broadly divided into partial adventure and problem-solving scenarios. Some new staff have been brought in to work on two original theme songs based off the The animated version (as i understand it). New screenshots below for those that are interested in the game.
