Some more screenshots and artwork on Gpara

EDIT: just started playing it, a note to others: The game got stuck for me with a corrupt save before the title screen (using CycloDS). Not to worry though i replaced the arm7.bin and it works perfectly now.

EDIT2: Battles are great kinda like a hyper version of mario & luigi rpg (where you have to hit the attack button at just the right time for extra damage) This game is like that in a sense, except it's much easier to pull off ridiculous combos. Whenever you see an [!] over the enemy during battle you can press attack again causing a chain combo. you can keep chaining going until the enemy dies really easily, great fun so far. Nice music as well.

Actual forget about that bit where i mentioned about attacking when you see a [!]. In order to combo properly you should be attacking before you see it.

Actually, the battle system should be more like Namco X Capcom as they mentioned before.  And noticed Namco now is a part of BandaiNamco...  And that also explain why this game has both Banpresto and Namco characters, plus the two originals from Namco X Capcom.  :D  The system might not be too difficult to use, but it'll take some time to get used to it.

Yeah it has the 2 characters from Namco X Capcom but it actually feels completely different to that game. The main game play in Mugen no Frontier is more like a generic rpg, Namco X Capcom was a strategy game. This is nothing like that although i guess the battles are similar.

Very easy tbh, there hasn't been anything thats got me stumped yet and im 4hrs into it now, with a 4 character party. Mind you it depends on how many j-rpg's you've played through really. If you're used to this genre then i don't think you will have much trouble with this game.

Menus are all fairly easy to work out from trial and error. Only took me a few mins to learn how set equipment and use items. Only thing i had trouble with at start was working out how to do the super special moves. You need to wait until the F. Gauge is at 100% before you can unleash the power.

Trouble is i only manged to build it to 100% while fighting bosses, so specials cant be abused, at least not at the start of the game anyway.
