Ok here it is, I believe this to be the penultimate version of Shooting Watch DS and probably the final version that I will release (unless you lot find more bugs for me to fix). I have attempted to combat the sprite issue found in version 2.2 (thanks to rush68 for pointing that one out) and have also tweaked a few things I found myself, read below to see exactly what has changed. As always you can grab the download from the Shooting Watch DS homepage linked at the base of this post.

I hope I have fixed everything but if anything does crop up, let me know and I will try to fix it. I really want to get on with my next project which has actually been in slow development since before I started coding Shooting Watch DS. If you don't know what it is, all you have to do is take a look around DS-Scene and there is a blatant hint as to what is coming. I hope to release a demo of that for you soon ;)

What's New?
** Version History **
v2.3

  • Attempted to fix sprites error "Sorry, there just seems to not be enough place to put all your sprites !!". This should be OK now.
  • Fixed music bug in "Slots" modes.
  • Fixed music bug in "Audio Test" mode.
  • Fixed music bug in "Enter Nick" mode.
  • Added option to turn music off in "Audio Test" Mode
  • Added note to WiFi Transfer mode that you can press Start button to cancel.

Please do not host this game on other sites.
we would rather you linked to the download section at the
Official Home Page thanks.

Come on retro, tell us about Radiant Silvergun DS!! I actually saw it this morning when I went to click on the wii.ds-scene link and it had changed. So... tell us more! show us some screenies!

It's good that shooting watch is pretty much final too, cracking work.

I don't want to release much information on Radiant Silvergun DS just yet... This is because I don't want to get you all fired up then not release anything for a while, I hate that kind of thing. I actually have a playable demo that a few people have tested for me so I may release a few screenshots of that soon. I have been recoding the engine recently to make use of the DS 3D sprites and the first level was nearly complete before the recode (that's my demo) but now I am a few steps behind that and am trying to integrate a bit of an engine to make it easy to add new levels and perhaps allow users to create their own levels (FAT loaded of course). It's still a little way off but keep an eye open and you never know, I may release more information on it soon.

Yeah it's a shame that the filesize seems to cause a few problems for people. I tried to implement FAT loading of music at one time to keep the file size down but the sound quality was worse than it is at the moment so I decided to keep with embedding the music. Congratulations on ranking 25th, that's a good score considering some of the scores at the top are nigh on ridiculous. I'm sure someone found a way to cheat :hmmm:

You can load it on G6/M3 DS Real using spinals DSision:

I guess you already know this pimpmail69 but I thought I would post the info for other people that may be having problems loading the game. this should also work with NCard and any other devices that have problems booting the rom.
