Yeah, I'm not so sure this is real either. Anyway, if it is real, is this leaked/not official?

Weeeeeell I trust it. I mean, Triforce is like one of the Gods when it comes to posting these things, but it is a little odd that it happened on April 1st  :P So what exactly does it mean by beta? Did they like, make the game or somethin?  :| Or maybe the release group is the one doing the aprils fool joke

What is the deal with this game anyhow? Wikipedia shows it with a US release date of February, I know I've seen it on several weekly release lists, but I've never seen it in a store, Best Buy and EB Games don't have it anywhere on their websites, and until this thing I've never seen a ROM of it.

Did the game ever really come out? If not, did a new release date get set?

Well, I don't know what happened to the release of this in stores, but there is infact a dump out there by this name.   Unforutnately I don't have time to mess with it as I need to go to work.  I'll test it when I get back home.

BTW, there's plenty of articles about this release all over the net (screenshots, previews etc).  Check em out.

EDIT:  This is real and does work on an emu.  I'll try it on an R4 and SC miniSD later today.

I've seen the screenshots and previews; that's why I was interested in the game in the first place. ;) I've just never seen a "real" dump of the game (not that this is fake, but it does claim to be "beta" which would seem to imply unfinished), and searching DS-Scene gets me nothing. Which, when combined with it not showing up in stores, is odd for a game that was supposed to come out a month ago. If you *have* seen a previous dump of it, can you let me know who dumped it so I can check it out?

And if it ends up being good, it'd be nice to know that it actually makes it into stores. I bought Ninja Gaiden DS on day one due to the strength of the Japanese ROM, and it was money very well spent. :D

It's basically a debug version given to beta testers that may work within the company. Or its possible that beta versions were outsourced to other companies, people, friends, for testing. When you enter dungeons its shows debug information on the top screen. The sort of thing you see in a lot in unfinished homebrew games.
