DesertDog has made a port of the PC-Engine pilot version of Snatcher. This is only the pilot/demo version and the developer has no plans to port the full game. The original was released on the Japanese PC-88 and MSX 2 systems and then later remade for the PCE, SegaCD, PSX and Saturn. If you enjoy this demo i strongly suggest checking out the English SegaCD version, which just happens to be my personal favorite game on that console.

Multiple Option's second DS homebrew release is Snatcher Pilot DS, an adventure game by Konami and an early game of Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid). This game is a demo (hence "Pilot") and is based upon the PC-Engine "Snatcher Pilot Disk," but uses the Sega CD version's assets.
While I'm sad that a full version isn't in the works, it's definitely a great way to entice today's DS gamers into booting up their Sega CDs and looking for totally legal and not in any way downloaded copies of this masterpiece to play. Psychonauts can eat it--Snatcher is a way-underloved game that should be played by everyone, everywhere.
