Touhou is a series of danmaku shooting games made by Team Shanghai Alice Spuzkaizer has coded a DS Touhou game that uses the stylus for movement. This one is played with the DS flipped on its side, TATE style (Vertical) The Source code can be downloaded from the PAlib forums, link below.

The game itself is really simple; (DS is held like a book) You use the stylus to move your character (Reimu Hakurei) around, pressing the up button on the d-pad (right button) to shoot at the boss. The rest of your time is spent dodging bullets
If you point me in the right direction (as in what programs did you use, where to donwload them, what I should know, etc.) I would like to at least learn and continue some of your work, im a Touhou fan too and I cant believe there's no port for the DS already I already has some extensive knowledge in Python, C, VB and PHP, I believe this is programmed in Objective-C, which is in some way similar to a cross of python and C++?
