Crappy Google Translation As this deviates from last week end, it became suddenly hot. If the usual, becomes suddenly cool from around this the husband who. So I have a question. In the Japanese read me it instructs you to copy all of the bin file, the .nds file and the .ini file over to the route directory(after changing the sale file size to 512 in the .ini for R4/M3Simply). Ok cool, done that, "nds backup" folder created as it says it will. Go into the nds backup slot-2, instructs me to insert my carts (using tetris for this example) press A as instructed, and then it just comes up with "reading of the file list" and below lists the details of my cart but nothing more. I cant toggle through the menu's as I am supposed to be able to, and it just lists the relevant details. I am using DS Simply and a 3 in 1. Is the 3 in 1 not sufficient for this as a slot-2 device? I would like to back up my progress on my Kanken cart!
ETA
While Im at being a dumbass, is my wifi connector not sufficient for the wifi version. Ive pissed around with the lot and nothing seems to be throwing me a bone!

The 3in1 has no filesystem, so there's nowhere to store the save file from your game. So you will have to use the Wifi version.
By "wifi connector" do you mean the USB wifi stick? If you have that, you'll need to install modified drivers before any homebrew will work on it. More details are available at http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=10320

Cheers. I was wondering about the filesystem issue, but I thought I might ask since in theory we can store one "game" on the 3 in 1.....hence the curiosity. Thanks for the link re:the soft AP. I tried before and failed......might give it another go.... Anyway, cheers for your help.

Fuck. It worked. Amazing. Here I was thinking it was some sort of miracle requiring some sort of special tech. Turns out it's as easy as pie to do.
I was surprised too, I couldn't get any of the other rom dumper tools to work with my M3 Perfect MiniSD, but this one works great (tested my backup, and it runs perfectly).
Did you DLDI Patch with the correct driver? When trying out the first version of this dumper, I patched it for my m3simply but since it does all its file writing/reading on the slot2 cart it needs to be patched for that (Im using an M3CF). One annoying thing is that the m3s autodldi patches, so you would need to downgrade the firmware to a pre-dldi-autopatching version.
Edit: But what Granola says is probably true, and in that case it wont work anyways.

I see.....I thought the auto-dldi patching on the latest firmware was an advantage! Well as Granola says its probably not doable...it does make sense. I actually followed through the soft AP and with a new version of the ASUS software got it working!! kinda......nothing will connect to it.....but got further than before! Does anyone no how to trim down the data rate from fully auto to 1 or 2 mbs (which is apparently what the DS can handle according to the error message I get when I use the DS) the homebrew also wont detect it, perhaps for the same reason. The problem is, the ASUS software doesnt let me choose a lower thruput...just "fully auto" greyed out....anyone?
Yeap, speaking to Rudolph as expected this will not work with 3 in 1 but, he says if possible he wants to release a version which can be used on the 3in 1 by the middle of next week.
