A WiiWare game getting the 3DS treatment


Swords & Soldiers by Ronimo Games is being ported to the 3DS, courtesy of Circle Entertainment. The game will be downloadable from the eShop sometime next year. What is Swords & Soldiers all about? Well, it pits Aztecs, Vikings and the Chinese in side-scrolling strategy battles - what more could you possibly want? Interested in the title? Try it out on the Wii, iPhone or the PS3 or PC. Do note that the trailer is from the WiiWare version - the final product may differ.

That looks obscenely fun, but I keep wondering how any game released on a Nintendo system can advertise its multiplayer when Ninty drops the multiplayer ball so hard on every one of their consoles.
