Sounds like a problem with .NET, have you tried reinstalling it? You can find all necessary files on Microsoft's website.

i've always heard that theres many problems with .net in 64 bit windows 7.
anyway which version of .net should i reinstall it?
coz, earlier this month, i kinda reinstalled my .net, coz it was having problem with bastion(a kool game btw).

edit: i downloaded the latest usrcheat.db and put it in my flash card. when i enter the cheat menu, some of the cheat description
are a bunch of scrambled text, which makes it hard for me to know what it does. what is the reason for this to happen?
i'm using r4 3ds (i just bought it last week) with latest kernel from its website.

It's been a while since I installed it, as I don't often use Windows, but I think all you need is the web installer from here ( www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851).

I can't say I've ever experienced any problems with it in my 64bit Win7 VirtualBox, but again, I probably haven't used it enough for that to occur.

i've tried reinstalling .net, still the error persists.
i've even tried to enable / disable it in the windows feature, still won't solve the problem.

as i mentioned in my previous comment, i've downloaded the db itsef.
when i load up the cheat screen, the text are unreadable.
is it because i'm using an r4 3ds card?

Because it isn't there. You can download the .dat file with the DS scene rom thing.
