This tool is an application for PC (foremost Windows) used to patch and trim and do lots of other things with your roms. It is not for use on the DS itself.

Strange, I clicked on the download icon to see if there was anything wrong with it, but it seems to work fine for me. Or were you able to download the application and load it up and are you unable to download something with the app?

ok When I Trim a Rom it says: "ROM_name - TRIMMED.nds"

Problem is, Some of the rom names are REALLY LONG now after trimming them and it wont make a save file for the game if the title is long...

Is there a way to Trim my roms and not have the word "TRIMMED" at the end of it?

I'm interested in, how this batch process works and also about the four main tab. (DS-Scene, Rom Info, AP Patch, Export) What can I do on these tabs?

Enhancement Request

Add another batch process that would ask for a directory and automatically read each ROM there and rename it to <Game Full Name> [Release #] or some other customizable format.

I was given 1000+ ROMs that are not well named which I have no idea whether they are valid scene releases. I REALLY don't want to go through them one by one and rename manually.

PLEASE CONSIDER!!! :-)

Almost forgot... would need to replace special characters while saving.

For example, LEGO Ninjago: The Videogame *MULTi7* would be saved as something like LEGO Ninjago- The Videogame (MULTi7) [5662].

This was already coded but not released due to the problems the collection manager could cause us. I have just now decided to release a new online update which includes the beta collection manager which does everything you just asked for basically. The process will place the files into a nice folder collection with the naming of your choice, so go ahead and run the online update but please be warned....

THE COLLECTION FEATURE IS STILL IN BETA

Reports are welcomed, even encouraged. Thanks to any enthusiast that would like to run this tool through some tests for us and report back.

Actually hold on, seems to be giving an exception on trying to enter the edit collection form. I'll work on fixing that.

Ok 1.0 1207 should be working (online update only again). There may be quite a few bugs in the collection manager with crashing etc so hold on to your seats.
