This is an unofficial English translation of Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side: 2nd Kiss, or "2nd Season" as it's known as on Nintendo DS. The Translation is provided by team gokusaishiki and has taken them nearly a year to complete.
info:
- All text should be translated minus four things:
The name entry under the kanji, hiragana and katakana tabs. We’re really sorry about this, but when we attempted to change this, it affected the rest of the in-game text. You can look up a list of Japanese names that work with the EVS (the system that makes it possible for the guys to say your name) in the TMGS series here.
The tutorial graphics for Valentine’s Day, the Pillow Fight on the school trip and for the activities during the Sports Festival. When Phoenix tried to change these, she spotted glitches.
The rooms for the input screens, because we could not locate this part of the game and;
The title of the 4-week fortune page is in Japanese, as changing it caused glitches.
- There will be no more releases for TMGS2 after this patch, unless there is a freeze or game crash.
Maybe some are, but I guess most are not. -- Some people like this game a lot because it's a challenge and a huge and important part of japanese culture. Others might love to give it to their daughter. Others are "normal healthy heterosexuals" that just have fun to play as a girl on internet forums or video games.
A normal gay man is not interested in this game, because you can't play as a guy. Only as a girl - the only girl in a fantasy dream world of attractive young men. On the other hand, there might be some gay men that are not normal. lol.
So don't worry about it. Aren't we all a bit perv sometimes..?

ah well, sorry it just me ranting above and I just checked, there's no Tokimeki out except Girl Side on Nintendo DS which is a real shame I need real Visual Novel on Nintendo DS. Not just the usual Mystery game.

I must say, the team translating these Tokimeki girly edition games are pretty sweet on their own way. I mean they sure have devotion, this is the second one already. On the other hand, I wish they would use their apparent skills for something that has a bit wider audience.
And speaking of VNs, one should get a PSP for those, it has gazillion of VNs. Too bad my Japanese skillz are a bit lacking to play those, especially I don't like the thing the main character isn't usually voiced at all. Luckily the best VN ever, Toradora! Portable, is fully-voiced.

They do. If you look around the GBATemp NDS Hacking forum, you'll recognize many of the translators and hackers work on many other projects as well. (Blood of Bahamut for example) The whole NDS translations scene is very small.
