Eigo de Tabisuru: Little Charo Nintendo's official site opened
Little Charo is probably best known as the star of an English learning program shown on NHK in Japan, but you can also find Charo's English lessons on radio, website, textbooks and CD's. Students who have taken a course on either radio or TV participate in mini-tests and practical exercises on the website. The DS game is said to be based on and expand upon the events that happen in the first season of the TV show, where Charo gets lost in New York and struggles to make himself understood.
Little Charo will be fully voiced in English and features English and Japanese subtitles that can be switched at any time. Game-play is said to provide unique English lessons by reviewing the story from different angles, and in addition to story sections there will also be some simple mini-game type events to enjoy. Little Charo travels in English! is developed and published by Nintendo and releases in Japan on the 20th of January 2011.
so... you're saying this going to be another Japanese to English Learning soft? while you can learn English to Japanese too? I hope no Engrish involved...
