/// THE UNOFFICIAL DSTT KERNEL WAS UPDATED!! ///

How to play "Super Robot Taisen L" on your DSTT and R4

For DSTT User:

Copy the five files of TTMENU.DAT, infolib.dat, extinfo.dat, ttpatch.dat and r4patch.dat from the DSTT kernel to the TTMENU folder of your DSTT.You must use these files together in order to cause DSTT to recognize more than 512 game titles.

Note: You must use DSTT Kernel v1.17a13 rev57(JAP) for implemeting the latest dat files.

For R4 User:

Use YSMENU with the same manner of the above instruction as like DSTT. Thus, use R4 YSMENU.

They should, yes. I think (nearly) all of the other games in the series have gotten an English translation, at least.

And even if they don't get an official one, you can still look around for some rabid fanboys and ask them to translate the game for you.

Or something.

I don't know, I'm just a poor old man.

I'm not sure you are being sarcastic or not.  What do you mean all of the other games in that series have english translation?  The only one that got the english release are the Original Generation series on GBA and Mugen No Frontier on DS.  The rest of the entire series never get translate.  Even the fan translation only did 1 game, the Super Robot Wars 3 on SNES.

The chance of these game getting english release is close to none.  If any company wants to bring this game into english, they have to go through the copyrights of each single series in the game, which is really a nightmare for them.

Yeah, I was only talking about the DS games (because that's what malapo was talking about). I didn't know this was a separate series, though, so excuse my ignorance.

I think SRW 4 also has a patch for Snes...and SRW alpha Gaiden  has a patch 100% english ( Playstation One..)  SRW Alpha is on its way..but who knows when...
I just don't understand why Lord of Elementals has NO english version ...is part of the original generation too!!!...
As mentioned above, the other Super Robot Wars game will never see the light of the day on the west.... too many licenses scattered through greedy publishers,TV channels, etc.. Just remember Tatsunoko vs Capcom problems, for a few characters... Sad!!

As far as I know, there is still no complete translation for SRW4.  Only SRW3 and SRW Alpha Gaiden got fan translated.

About why LoE never get translated, it has a lot to do with the relationship between Banpresto and Winky Soft.  The old generation of SRW are all made by Winky Soft up until Alpha.  Winky Soft splited up from Banpresto and start creating their own games(The most popular one is Zone of The Enders).  And you can probably realize that after the split, Banpresto hardly mention anything about the LoE world.  That is because Winky Soft owns the copyrights of that part.  And Banpresto probably do have to pay Winky Soft some money to even put in the LoE units in Alpha Gaiden.

But now, since Banpresto and Winky Soft are back together, it is quite possible to see LoE in english in the future.  grin

But I do more interested in what takes Banpresto so long to release the Original Generation 3...  arrogant
