Could anyone tell me how I'd know whether it patched the ROM or not? Because I don't see any signs that it did. Filename: "L457 Wind0w 7h3 53cr37 0f C4p3 W357 (E).nd5"

Maybe it's because that's not an NDS ROM.

Rename the file xms-lwwe.nds and it should work fine. Another file should appear in the folder if done correctly, the new file is the cracked game.
Edit: the new file is named sxs-lwcw and is 123MB's.

Thank you very much! I named it "sxs-lwcw.nds" that's why it didn't work. Well thanks again

That's not the patched one. Go back to the page where you download that and search for: 5140-LWTSOCW-MX [CRACKED].rar That's the already patched rom.
After download it and unrar it, you should rename it whatever you want, but keep in mind that YOU MUST change that '.nd5' to '.nds'.
@Kiekoes: How in hell you don't recognize these types of 'masked' roms? Are you living under a rock? Facing the ground?

No problem.
I wish they wouldn't 'mask' the roms, though.
