Excuse me, but the cheats from DS-Scene Rom Tool don't seem to be working. I do not know if this is the firmware or the cheat database, but please find out if there is a problem with the cheat database. I have checked that no cheats work on usrcheat.dat with Wood R4 v1.52 and v1.53. The cheats worked with usrcheat from the tool when I used Wood R4 v1.49. I will test this but please help to check it out.
EDIT: The current usrcheat.dat cheats don't work with Wood R4 v1.49. The only reasonable answer is that there is a problem with the cheat database or the data in it. Please help to fix this.

The problem was not the usrcheat.dat in the wrong folder as the game recognized it had cheats but they didn't work. I also may have found the solution to the problem. I will test it now.

I found it! It was very stupid of me to have forgotten this. I forgot to turn Cheat in Game(AR) on. That was the reason for it not working. I am sorry to have taken up your time and blaming your work.

Glad you found the solution. I should let you know though that these are not cheats made by DS-Scene or any of its staff members (at least not that I know of), but by the CMP team: http://www.codemasters-project.net/
You're more likely to get a solution to a problem with the cheats database on their forums than here.
