Yatterman Finland

Umm, I never introduced myself before? Shame on me.

OK, I'm an eccentric person from the cold country called Finland and I use the nickname Yatterman here. As some may know, Yatterman is an 108 episode anime from the late 70s (an awesome one), also a live action movie was made on 2009 (which is also awesome). Been here a few years already, mostly talking about new (3)DS games. Been a gamer since I was six, and that was kinda a long time ago. Interested in all kinda Japanese stuff, anime, manga, game music, obscure games and so on. My favorite games are MOTHER3 (GBA - I own the elusive Deluxe Box!), moon - Remix RPG Adventure (PSX) and Shadow Hearts: Covenant (PS2).

So yea, it's me and I like it here.

Do you speak Japanese (fluently)?

Not fluently, I have told about my skillz earlier in some topic. I can read manga with furigana, play most games, watch anime without subs... but I can't write nor speak very well. So to put it bluntly, I know Japanese as long as I don't have to create anything by myself. :)

Hehe, sword mountain indeed. No, it's an old word that means something like "to appear" or "go forth"... eeh, just watch anime Onmyou Taisenki, they use that word all the time. "Byakko no Kogenta, kenzan!"

Man, I wish I could understand Japanese as well as you do. I can only speak a little, like, if I were going to Tokyo right now I think I could survive but I cannot have a normal conversation with someone. I do have a shitload of course books, which I'm gonna study this summer. But you can read Japanese but you can't write? That's kinda weird isn't it? Don't you learn both at the same time?

Reading's always easier than writing. I can read (and understand) German quite easily, though I have no idea how the language works as I never got it in school and haven't felt the need to study it.

I think you're a pretty cool guy Yatterman, nice to have you here.
