Hello there

I would like to announce officially that TCG project Clash of Gods is being worked on
We have 3-person team for now and looking for a bit more especially:
- Graphics - someone who would do some basic graphic and card images per se
- Sound maker - someone who would do some synthesizer music themes and maybe SFX sounds to game

We are NOT looking for:
- Coders - enough of them is there already

If You would like to join, test the game or just play, You are mostly welcomed

The homepage of project is located here:
Homepage

When next revision will be done I will ask staff for posting official release info on main page here (it would be a honor to have it :D)

Have a nice day everyone

Subaru (aka Kisuke on project page)

Seems like a promising project, too bad the site doesn't work.
If you'd like, can you tell us something more about it here?

Ah sorry about that, my mistake, I forgot that they randomly do a check if I'm not doing some terrorist-like actions there :P (just kidding, in fact it's about material-content)

Meanwhile I will write then something more as You ask

Project is about making TCG with some fantasy background, two nations (races) are fighting with each other, nobody really remembers why because war lasts so long
There will also be neutral units that will provide help to whatever side will pay more money &c.

Project is of course being written to DS as homebrew, everybody will be able to play it for free (tough maybe I will set up donations if that won't collide with license)

Online play is planned but not sure yet if it will be like WFC thing, with server somewhere or maybe just local play, it's long future ahead

Anything else I may answer?

EDIT #1
Oh seems like the site is up again ^_^

Seems like a nice idea ^^
Also, do you have some screenshots or is the UI not that far since you're looking for a designer

UI is so simple that I'm ashamed to even speak about it right now...pick Paint and spend 10 minutes in it...yup You have our UI
I will try to record today some demo from actual version but as I said it's so *SIMPLE* for now
We are looking for someone who can do graphics a little bit more professional way than I do in the first place

EDIT #1
Done
I did the video, be warned :P
Ignismare posted info about video on the site in General area
Enjoy

Seriously though, forget paint. I can see what you're going throught with your team as far as graphics are concerned, so I'll give you a few recommendations:

1. GraphicsGale - an absolute essential when it comes to sprite sheets, even the Free version allows numerous importing and exporting options, as well as Onion Skinning. It makes creating a proper animation MUCH easier - no longer will you have to move sprites a pixel to the left or right to keep them centered.

2. Paint .NET will be essential if you can't afford Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro is fantastic aswell and it's a legacy program, so you should be able to "find" it no problemo. It features both Vector and Raster graphics, so you'll be able to scale/resize with no quality loss when working in vectors and convert them to rasters whenever you want.

Good luck with the project. ;)

Heheh nice place, very warm looking, like my hell xD

GraphicsGale - it may be helpful indeed, thank You

As for other programs I can get them this or other way but the trick is I can't use them to CREATE something from scratch that's why we are looking for someone that CAN do something from nothing properly...and we can't find yet...

Thanks for registering, the community is growing :D
