We have an agreement with my girlfriend that around the time she's back from work, I'm supposed to call her so that she knows I'm also home and she should log on Skype. I do that regularly and I always remember to hang up before the Voice Mail takes over.
Yesterday I did the exact same routine whilst playing Mass Effect 3. Engrossed in the game, I wasn't really paying attention to what I was doing - I was too busy probing planets for useful resources. All of a sudden, I hear the familiar Skype notification sound, so I pause the game and grab the laptop. This is the conversation that followed (Dates and nicks removed):

Well, I don't remember all of it, but this is the complete story:

After the site had to remove pretty much every download link, a lot of people stopped visiting (except for the forum members). So after a while I started a thread in the NDS Share section of the forum in which I would post l1nkz to the new ND5 R0Mz. I would update the first post with new l1nkz everytime a new R0M came out. This made tons of people visit the site again and made me pretty popular. Then one of the global mods messaged me saying that the admin asked if I could take care of the NDS section, I agreed and got promoted to moderator. Because I ran out of remaining characters in that one post I began to post new R0Mz in separate topics and also allowed other people to post R0Mz when I wasn't around. Although there were some more people posting R0Mz, the main three were Jonez, elixirdream and me. I was always the first one to post the new R0Mz, because I had access to a certain FTP site that had R0Mz pretty much directly after pre. (elixir did too, but he didn't post that often) After a while I got news poster here and didn't post that much on the other site. I got demoted and Jonez was the new mod. He was a bit inexperienced and had some fuck ups on which I messaged him asking if he could do it correctly, since he was fucking up my NDS Section. He felt threatened, messaged the admin and got me banned. I was outraged because I was only trying to help him, trying to make him look more professional, so I messaged the admin, explained the situation and got unbanned. Me and Jonez made up and I gave him (as he calls it) behind the scenes advice. Everything went great until one member, Athemoe, talked herself into becoming moderator and into becoming global moderator. She really abused her mod powers and none of us there took her shit so we pretty much opposed the idea by constantly breaking rules (spamming her sections and starting flame wars). It didn't really work and she did get mod status (it wasn't really mod status, but I think it was called something like manager which had full global mod powers) in the end so I asked if I could get banned, because there's no way in hell I want to be part of a forum with a nazi mod like her. After she banned me I went back around 4 or 5 times just to fuck with them, resulting in another 5 bans. I come back from time to time to check in on them or just to troll them.
Holy damn. I have more posts on there (3869) than here (2381).
