Games came before manga, that's why. :)

I think games (Green and Red) were first, then anime (Pocket Monsters), and manga (Pocket Monsters SPECIAL) begun then.
So even if the manga is based on games, the Origin is based on games, not manga that is based on games. :D


damn you're right, '96 for games '97 for manga.

still think the manga would make for a better anime, the main character is awesome
