Well then, Latin is related to those subjects! There are loads of words in Latin that are almost exactly the same (heck, sometimes they are exactly the same) as in English and French (and Dutch and German and whatnot). And the grammar rules (if you don't bend them, that is ) are similar as well.
I'd love to have learnt Greek and Latin, but only Latin was available at my first school.
That's a very thin thread right there Sure, I can see your point, but since most of those words are nearly the same in every single latin-based language, that's hardly a reason enough to teach latin grammar and vocabulary X3. And grammar... uhm... I see nearly no resemblance with english, but it's scarily similar to polish o.o
