I did want the GBA link in some way though, maybe extra dungeons, secret weapons, something that really put my incredible data to good use. I honestly could care less if you sacrificed your slot 2 and got a DSi. That was your decision and the creation of the DSi should have had no bearing on that option being included or not.
It's actually pretty irrelavant. I imagine you could just use cheats to get whatever you wanted.
