Do I need this when I'm only using AKAIO (on my non-i Acekard 2 in a DS Lite), never the original firmware?

Edit: The "Acekard 2/2i Firmware DSi 1.4.1 Fix" in the download section confused me. Seems this is only for the AK2i, not for the AK2.
