I just used this to dump a couple of small flashcards, mainly because they are tiny and quick to test. For me it starts off sending at about 35-40KB/s then drops to 4-5KB/s after a few seconds. I thought it could be something to do with windows firewall so i turned it off completely but that didn't help.
It's only v0.10 so maybe speed issues can be resolved in the future. Btw i didn't have to do anything to get it to connect, just put a user, pass in the ini and enter that same user pass in flashfxp, along with the ip the ds chooses.
EDIT: On second thoughts, the speed issues might be something to do with FlashFxp or its settings. It might be an idea to try a few different ftp clients to see if one performs better than the other.
EDIT2: Rudolph mentions in the readme: "FTPd support: because of poor command, FTP client software may not be used properly (tested with FFFTP)." So i installed FFFTP and while the connection seemed more stable the transfer rate still starts at 30 and drops to around 4-5KB/s
EDIT:3 I take that back, FFFTP keeps disconnecting on me half way through dumping. This dumper isn't usable yet imo, unless you are dumping a 64mbit ROM lol
