It's a Visual Novel, just like the PC and PS2 games of the Higurashi series.
I'd play it, but I can't understand a word of Japanese. I will await a translation (whenever that'll be. I know you're out there, underground TL's!)

The pic with the green-haired girl covered in blood is the arc from the bonus manga. <3 Natsumi.
