It's like I said really, the odd preview every now and then doesn't hurt but as you say it can be easily overdone and end up overpowering what the main aim of ds-scene is. Sure we like to see snippets every now and then on the shocker announcements but it has to be kept to a minimum and we certainly do not want to be swamped with them.
