Stupid video is stupid. Here's the official info released by one of Sega's designers:

Dreamcast Delta - the would-be Dreamcast 2

EDIT: Just to elaborate on my statement, I'm going to refute each and every point in that video so that it is clear that Dreamcast 2 is a wonderful dream that will not come true, at least not in the nearby future.

1. Sega Zone - while it is licensed by SEGA, it is not *made* by SEGA. The only affiliation are the games stored on the console and its hardware. It's essentially a Genesis clone released by AtGames.

2. Alot of mock-ups. Fun, but doesn't change the fact that DC2 doesn't exist.

3. Sega's President changed flagships, but the statement of the Board of Directors is unchanged. The President is just the voice of the board, he does not have the final word.

4. Sega renews the Dreamcast license periodically to re-release the games as Dreamcast Classics of other consoles. It's their name - of course they protect their trademark.

5. That's quite clearly patents for the Dreamcast or Saturn controller, it's filled so that they protect their intellectual property. As for the "Image Projection Aparathus", it could be for one of their arcade machines for all you know. Not only that - companies fill in patents all the time, even for devices they are not actively working on, just because they came up with an idea they find "good". If somebody comes up with the same idea, they already have the patent.

6. Yuji Naka may WANT to work on one, but it's up to the Board whether he gets the green light, plus, he's not a hardware designer, he's a programmer.
