With five games to choose from, Chinese DS users really have no choice but to pirate or import.  

I'm pretty sure they have more than just 5 games. I know there is a Chinese only Super Mario 64, yet it doesn't show up on the DS Release roster.

The DS is called an iQue in China, and only Chinese DS can run the retail Chinese DS games (Not sure if pirating works). It has something to do with the Chinese DS Firmware being the only DS with the chinese characters on it.

I can only guess that maybe this has some reason or another to do with the fact that we don't see many Chinese exclusive DS games here.

There are only 5 official Chinese iQue DS games. There are a TON of pirated/translated to Chinese games.

As I recall, the iQue DS has another processor? and if I remember correctly this handles an extra Chinese character table and it prevents iQue DS games from running properly on a NDS/L/i as far as I know.

If you try to run one on your DS(i) flashcard you only get a "Only on iQue DS" warning.

Note that in the list that the current iQue DS rom (New Super Mario Bros) happens to be the latest released iQue DS game.

It's funny how many other sites have edited out the watermark i put on this box and then used it on their site. I actually used this image and distorted the shape so it looks like a front view, i knew people would take my edit that's why i marked it, n00bs lol.
