This is the secret project that has been in development since Christmas! Some of you may have heard whispers of it, while the more dedicated members will have already seen it. So what is it exactly?
Wii.DS-Scene.net is the new site bought to you by the same hard working staff that bring you up to the minute DS News coverage and there, if you had not guessed it already, you will find the latest news for the Nintendo Wii along with a new forum dedicated to Nintendo's Next-Gen Console!
Along side this, there is an option where you can still view the Nintendo DS news though all posting options are disabled in this area. Why show DS News there you may ask well.....
The site gives a new interface which aims to be user friendly but most of all is made specifically for viewing from the Nintendo Wii browser without the need for starting up your PC. We will add new skins with less image-heavy content soon for those wanting it and a skin designed for viewing on PC will be added later aswell.
We hope you like the new site and to make things easy for you, your member accounts extend here too so there is no need to sign up or login (unless you aren't a member of ds-scene already ).
You have a new avatar option on Wii.DS-Scene with a special feature for creating your avatar which we will leave you to find out on your own. If you do not set a new avatar, your avatar from here will be used instead.

That´s why it is a seperate site but it covers the DS aswell so you can view the DS news from your Wii should you so desire. We would never put wii releases on the main page so those that want DS just come here, no problemo
looks great, but i don´t like the fact that it is much slower than this site here. The mainproblem i see within your code is that you seem to have functions like boxRollOut multiple times in html page (just always with differnt numbers, this can be done differently). It makes the entire site bigger than it should be. Change such functions to be more dynamic, then it will decrease the file´s size and loadtime for endusers.
