Okay we want to know how many female and male gamers we actually have on the site. We know we have a lot of male gamers but what about female? Us females tend to get forgotten about and I want to know how many we have out there.

They don´t have to post, just vote. The girls are trying to do something "for the girls" but it is obviously not worth doing anything it if no one is interested. Whether it is a realistic figure of how many girls visit the site or not, they are trying to find out how many girls are out there and are wanting to be involved in things a bit more.
Either vote or miss out, stop being so negative. FerretGirl and Toadette have said nearly nothing for a year but now are wanting to be involved more. There must be more like them!
With such GREAT games developed for females in mind im surprised there isn´t more of them on here. With games like barbie and the 12 dancing princesses, hamsterz, bratz, poneyz, etc. you´d think there would be millions of female DS users.
Honestly: What does a mature girl or woman think of the stereotyical pink/cute games for girls. Do you think it paints a bad image of what video games should be like in the minds of young girls, or do you think thoes frilly games, despite their horribleness are still good games for the fact that it is encouraging the females to go electronic.

Personally the only game in that list that I even bothered to try was Hamsterz lol and it was boring. As for the others I think they are supposed to be for the younger girls, like 8 years or so. I personally love playing roleplaying and adventure games as well as the odd fighting game. And I don´t have a pink DS Lite

Why is there no option for transvestites? (no, I´m not one, just curious as to why the option isn´t there). And why is the thread title "How many female gamers are here?"? Why not change it to "What sex are you?"?
We want to encourage more female gamers to the scene and/or find our how many reside here so the question is aimed at females. Transvestites are still the sex that they are before they dress up. I mean if you are a serious transvestite then maybe you think of yourself as female anyway so that will be the option they can vote for. Some people may also not want to vote to say they are a transvestite.
This is all part of a bigger plan that the girl admins are having
