  Mario Party Island Tour - Problem with multiplayer mode

While playing Mario Party Island Tour in Multiplayer mode, we cannot play for more than 5 minutes without getting a Communication Error. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Multiplayer is the only reason I bought the game and we cant use it.
