PSP is quite dead in the West, but Japanese PSP gamers got many cool games that never were released here. One of those is Danganronpa - Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei, a very quirky yet entertaining murder mystery visual novel by Spike. Unfortunately the game requires VERY good knowledge of Japanese, and it's nigh impossible to play without. I gave it a try once and the amount of text was simply overwhelming. But fandom is a mysterious thing indeed, and some dedicated people have begun translating it a good while ago...

And lo! I just took a gander of translation project site and the completion percent was 99,9! Very soon people are able to play this awesome game - in English. Time to get excited.

An anime of Danganronpa is also green-lit and will start airing in the Summer. The game also has a sequel that hopefully will be getting translation as well by the same people.
